Managed Service Offerings

What is the process involved in implementing one of your managed services offerings?

An understanding of your business operations is critical to creating a collective success. It's therefore important that all service rollouts begin with a project meeting to establish the process of understanding your  objectives, establishing timelines and developing Service Level Agreements.

Managed service implementations in brief require ordering of connectivity, building  your information database, incorporating managed devices into our systems and developing notification and reporting systems. All services are custom built with your objectives in mind.

How do you connect from your network to ours?

Our management center is typically connected to your network via private line facilities such as a Frame Relay service. In some instances we do connect to you by way of VPN service. Out of band access is also incorporated to provide additional access points.

How long does it take for service to be activated?

Service activation is dependant on several factors including, time to provision network connectivity, availability of information from you, as well as the size and complexity of your infrastructure. Most moderately sized infrastructures can begin managed
services in approximately 45-60 days.

What type of coverage plans do you offer?

Our service coverage is generally 7x24 but can be customized. We do offer shorter hours for companies that require less coverage. In addition, we also offer complementary coverage for organizations that want to mange the infrastructure for some portion of the day, i.e. 8am-6:00pm, but want to make certain that the network is monitored during off-shift hours.

What areas and or countries do you cover?

Our services are available on a regional, national, and global basis.

How is maintenance and or hardware replacement handled?

We act as an agent on behalf of our customers to coordinate replacement of all failed components for existing maintenance plans.  Service plans are also available directly from NMS.

What legnth of contracts are offered?

Contract terms begin at 1 year.

Are Service Level Agreements offered?

Yes!  We have a robust service level offering.  For each client we collectively develop service level parameters upon which we deliver our services.  Our approach ensures that our services consider critical customer variables against which we are measured.  If we fail to meet our agreement service credits are are applied.

What tool set (i.e. systems for monitoring and reporting) do you use?

Our tool set is comprised of a variety of market leading products that are integrated to provide you and our staff with a robust combination of information and function.

Our capabilities are continuously  upgraded as new features and  technologies become available.

How are problem calls handled?

Problem calls are managed according to predefined criteria established with you. The process varies dependant on your needs. Problem management can vary depending on location, device, and time of day, along with any other reasonable criteria. The process can be updated as required to ensure maximum effectiveness.

How long have you been in business?

Our company has been in business since 1996. Our staff comes from a variety of industries and backgrounds with long standing experience in the design,  management and implementation of technology infrastructures.
